Isa Dahl (*1965, Ravensburg) is a prominent German painter whose work is distinguished by her masterful use of glazing and the superimposition of layers of color, creating images of great depth and dynamism. Her abstract compositions, with spiral structures and intertwined forms, evoke plant fibers, organic weaves and fluid movements, playing with the perception of the figurative and the abstract.
Isa Dahl (b. 1965 in Ravensburg) is a German painter known for her dynamic, glazed layers of color. She studied at the art academies in Stuttgart and Düsseldorf, where she was a master student of Prof. Dieter Krieg. Her work is characterized by abstract, spiral-shaped structures that convey depth and movement.
She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Villa Romana Prize and the Upper Swabian Art Prize. In addition to international scholarships and exhibitions, she founded the artists’ group maximal in 1994. Since 2005 she has been working with the Staatliche Majolika Manufaktur Karlsruhe and has been active in the Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg since 2006.
