Just like the figure itself, Hubert Mussner often suggests its placement in a space precisely defined by the artist. In this way, he creates an imaginary atmosphere in which to explore the most intimate feelings and the various aspects of human expression. In fact, the protagonists are men and women who dissolve in the wood. The form is compact and the light shapes the surfaces, which in this way better preserve their approximation to reality. The poses of the figures result from a few orientations, the vertical and the horizontal, a slight inclination or direction. They open up an impressive view for perception. For the artist, the balance of the figures’ forces conceals the impetus of life.
