Sonja Weber’s art focuses on textures; Structures of nature captured by Weber’s camera in fleeting moments before disappearing forever. Impressive images of clouds, water, hair, light and mountains which Weber converts into an exclusive jacquard fabric and then stretches on a stretcher frame. There is no so-called painting in Weber’s works, no printed image, no mixed media, no material other than his own work of art.
