Unikat von Sonja Weber “o.T.” (1708), 85 x 85 cm, Jacquardgewebe auf Keilrahmen
Sonja Weber (born 1968 in Hof, Bavaria) completed her art studies at the Ravensburg Free Art School and received her textile designer diploma at the Textile University in Münchberg. She studied fine art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg with Professor Hanns Herpich and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professor Gerd Winner.
“In our restless times, my works enable the viewer to remember and escape into this other world. He can immerse himself in my water and cloud images, find peace there, find relaxation and let his soul unwind. Even if such statements do not correspond to the zeitgeist of current art, they do, admittedly, describe what every human being feels deep down in terms of longing and wishes.” (Sonja Weber)
