The artist, alchemist and creative director was born in Granada, Spain, in 1979. In her works, she strives to represent the essence of nature and humanity with minimal material effort. She dreams of something different, extraordinary, real.
Each of her works is a "point of light", consciously created with energy to harmonize and balance the space in which it is placed. In all her works, her passion for nature is recognizable, creating a perfect perfection and function.
Biografie
Veronica Mar obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Art from the University of Barcelona in 2005 and her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the Eina School in 2004. Since 2007, she has exhibited her work in prestigious art and design galleries including Rossana Orlandi (Milan), Les Ateliers Courbet (NY), Mint (London) and The Wolfsonian Museum (Miami). Her works such as the “SOUL Sculpture bench” from 2011 and the “Autumn Leaf swing” from 2012 have won international awards. She has designed for brands such as Porcelanosa, Cosentino, Tribú, LAB23, Groël and others. Her work is imbued with energy, constantly in search of balance, harmony and naturalness of forms.
Mar believes that reality is not only the tangible. Through the spiritual world, she creates her works with great power that provides balance, harmony and inner strength. The placement of her pieces changes the energy of the spaces, while minerals, numerology and sacred geometry are hidden in her works, helping to promote balance and harmony to any space.
Since 2014, she has presented her sculptures at art exhibitions and galleries in London, Shanghai, Barcelona, Madrid, Miami and New York. She has created works for private and public collectors.
The artist is based in Madrid and works for clients and collectors around the world.
